James was born April 9, 1876 in Darcy Lever, Bolton, Lancashire, England. He was the second child of four born to John Kirtland Anderson and Betty (Betsy) Kirkman.
He was married to Great-Grandma Anderson on Feb.1, 1898 in Kingston, Utah. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple on 18 Feb. 1940. They had nine children.
He passed away 14 Feb. 1937 in Richfield, Utah and he is buried in the Kingston town Cemetery.
Great- Grandma Anderson's was born Jan, 9, 1881 in Old Kingston, Utah. Her name was Violet Susanna Syrett and she was the last baby born in the "Kingston United Order" which became known as Old Kingston.. She was the first baby of three born to Ephraim Wiiliam Syrett and Mariah Roberts.
She passed away on May 30, 1975 in the Nephi Care Center and she is buried next to James in Kingston.
